The Group recognizes the importance of environmental issues as a global challenge and is committed to responsible actions and initiatives aimed at achieving a sustainable society. Each and every one of our executives and employees recognizes that addressing environmental issues is one of our social responsibilities, and we are committed to addressing environmental issues in all areas of our business activities, including prevention of environmental pollution, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, mitigation and adaptation to climate change, and conservation of biodiversity and ecosystems. Through these efforts, we will strive to reduce our environmental impact and contribute to the sustainable growth of society and the economy. We will also strive to reduce our environmental impact by going paperless and promoting energy and resource conservation.

Our executives and employees will strive to reduce environmental impact and save energy through the use of IT and the reduction of unnecessary printing. We will further promote DX to prevent wasteful use of paper resources and go paperless. We will also strive to increase mergers and acquisitions that lead to the reduction of environmental burdens, thereby contributing to the realization of a sustainable world.

Response to Climate Change

The Group and its officers and employees are committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in order to fulfill our responsibility to the planet in the future. As part of our efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, we are striving to reduce electricity consumption.We are working to save electricity through measures such as adjusting air conditioning temperatures in office spaces and fostering environmental awareness among employees, including setting air conditioners at higher temperatures in summer and lower temperatures in winter. We are also aware of our greenhouse gas emissions and will improve our energy efficiency.By helping companies reduce greenhouse gas emissions from their own activities and use of services, we reduce greenhouse gas emissions throughout the value chain.
